The Law Students’ Union (LSU) at Kings University College recognizes the crucial role that practical experience plays in preparing law students for successful careers in the legal profession. To support the professional development of our members, the LSU has established partnerships with a diverse range of legal organizations, including law firms, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government agencies, and the judiciary, to provide internship opportunities that complement academic learning.
Through these internships, law students can gain valuable hands-on experience, develop essential skills, and build professional networks that will serve them throughout their careers.
Internships may involve a range of tasks and responsibilities, including legal research, drafting legal documents, assisting with case preparation, attending court proceedings, and participating in client meetings. By engaging in these activities, students can apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world situations, develop their problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the legal system and the role of lawyers in society.
The LSU Internship Program is open to all currently enrolled law students at Kings University College who meet the eligibility requirements set by the partner organizations. To apply for an internship opportunity, interested students should complete the following application form.

The LSU will provide ongoing support to interns throughout their placement, including pre-internship orientation, regular check-ins, and post-internship debriefing and feedback.
The LSU Internship Program is a proof of our commitment to the professional success and personal growth of our members.
