Get Involved
We believe that the law school experience should extend beyond the classroom, and we offer a wide range of opportunities for students to get involved, develop their skills, and build lasting connections with their peers and the broader legal community.
Participate in LSU Events and Activities
a. Legal Symposia and Conferences: The LSU hosts legal symposia and conferences that bring together legal experts, practitioners, and scholars to discuss cutting-edge legal issues and trends. These events provide law students with the opportunity to learn from leading figures in the legal field, engage in intellectual discourse, and expand their knowledge and perspectives.
b. Moot Court Competitions: The LSU organizes internal moot court competitions and supports student participation in external competitions, both nationally and internationally. These competitions provide law students with the opportunity to develop their advocacy skills, argue legal cases before judges, and compete against their peers from other law schools.
c. Legal Aid Clinics: The LSU collaborates with legal aid organizations to provide opportunities for law students to gain practical experience and serve the community through legal aid clinics. These clinics allow students to work with real clients, provide legal advice and representation, and develop their practical legal skills under the supervision of experienced attorneys.
d. Networking and Alumni Events: The LSU organizes networking events and alumni gatherings that provide law students with the opportunity to connect with legal professionals, build relationships with alumni, and explore career opportunities. These events may include career fairs, alumni mentorship programs, and social gatherings. To participate in LSU events and activities, students can:
Provide Feedback and Suggestions
The LSU values the input and feedback of its members and is constantly seeking ways to improve and better serve the needs of the law student community. We encourage all students to share their ideas, suggestions, and concerns with the LSU leadership and help shape the future direction of the organization. To provide feedback and suggestions, students can:
- Attend LSU general meetings and forums to voice their opinions and ideas
- Complete LSU surveys and feedback forms to provide input on specific issues or initiatives
- Contact LSU committee chairs or executive members directly to discuss their ideas or concerns
Submit anonymous feedback through the LSU suggestion box or online feedback form
By getting involved in the LSU, law students at Kings University College have the opportunity to shape their law school experience, develop their skills and passions, and make a meaningful impact on the legal profession and society as a whole. Whether through joining committees, participating in events, or providing feedback and suggestions, every student has a role to play in building a strong, vibrant, and inclusive law school community.
We encourage all law students to take advantage of the many opportunities available through the LSU and to actively engage in shaping the future of legal education at Kings University College. Together, we can create a transformative law school experience that empowers us to become the legal leaders of tomorrow.
