CUSTOMS ORDINANCE (CAP. 167) THE REMISSION OF DUTY (GOLD COAST GULF OIL COMPANY) NOTIFICATION, 1957 (LN 31).              

 

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 52 of the Customs Ordinance the Governor hereby remits the whole of the Customs duty payable in respect of—

(a) any machinery, plant, equipment, and other goods, but not including goods wholly or partly for household or domestic use, for recreation or entertainment or for office use, imported on or after the 1st day of March, 1956 by the Gold Coast Gulf Oil Company which the Comptroller of Customs and exercise is satisfied are —

(i) of a non-consumable nature; and

(ii) imported by the said company exclusively for use by the said company in direct connection with the prospecting for oil.

2. This Notification may be cited as the Remission of Duty (Gold Coast Gulf Oil Company) Notification, 1957.
