(COMMENCEMENT) INSTRUMENT, 1969

KNOW YE ALL MEN that in exercise
of the powers conferred on the
Presidential Commission by clause
(1) of Article 87 of the
Constitution, We, AKWASI AMANKWA
AFRIFA, D.S.O., Chairman of the
Presidential Commission, JOHN
WILLIE KOFI HARLEY, M.V., Deputy
Chairman of the Presidential
Commission, and ALBERT KWESI OCRAN,
D.S.O., Member of the Presidential
Commission, do hereby, by this
Constitutional Instrument, appoint
Parliament House, Accra, to be the
place and ten o'clock in the
forenoon of Thursday, the 2nd day
of October, 1969, to be the time
at which the First Session of the
First Parliament of the Second
Republic of Ghana shall commence.
Given under our hands and the
Presidential Seal at the Castle,
Osu, this 24th day of September,
1969.
