these Regulations are made this
25th day of January, 1994.
Regulation 1—Regulation 1 L.I. 747
Amended.
The Ghana Nationality Regulations,
1972 (L.I. 747) referred to in
these regulations as “the
principal regulations” are amended
by the substitution for regulation
1 of the following—
"1. Applications under the Act.
All application under the Ghana
Nationality Act, 1971 (Act 361)
shall be made to the Minister in
the appropriate form set out in
the Schedule (which shall be
submitted in duplicate), and shall
be accompanied by the following
fees, which shall not be
refundable.
Form 1 (application for
registration as a citizen of Ghana
under
section 2 (1) of the Act .

Regulation 2—Regulation 2 L.I. 747
Amended.
The principal regulations are
amended by the substitution for
regulation 2 (2) of the following—
“(2) One such sponsor shall be a
judge, magistrate, minister of
religion, public officer earning a
basic salary of not less than ˘1.5
million per annum, legal
practitioner, accountant, doctor
or dentist”.
Regulation 3—Regulation 5 L.I.
747 Amended.
The principal regulations are
amended by the substitution for
regulation 5 (3) of the following—
“(3) A fee of 920,000 shall be
paid for the registration of a
declaration referred to in this
regulation”.
Regulation 4—Regulation 9 of L.I.
747 Amended.
The principal regulations are
amended by the substitution for
regulation 9 (2) of the following—
“(2) a fee of ˘10,000 shall be
paid for supplying a certified
copy of any certificate,
declaration or entry granted or
made under the Act”.
