IN exercise of the powers
conferred upon the Governor by
section 4 of the Harbours and
Wharfage Dues Ordinance, the
following Order is hereby made:—
Order 1—Title.
This Order may be cited as the
Appointment of Harbour Masters
Order, 1957.
Order 2—Appointment of Harbour
Masters.
The officers specified in the
second column of the Schedule to
this Order shall be Harbour
Masters of the ports specified
opposite to them in the first
column of the said Schedule.
Order 3—Assistant Harbour Masters.
In the case of the illness,
absence or incapacity of the
Harbour Master of any port other
than Sekondi, the Officer of
Customs next below him in rank at
such port shall, subject as
hereinafter provided, be and
function as Assistant Harbour
Master: Provided always that, if
the Comptroller of Customs should
in any particular instance so see
fit to do, he may designate
another Officer of Customs so to
function; and any such officer so
designated shall be and shall
function as Assistant Harbour
Master.
Order 4—Revocation of Previous
Orders.
All previous Orders made under
section 4 of the Harbours and
Wharfage Dues Ordinance are hereby
revoked.
