ENTITLED
THE INVESTIGATION AND FORFEITURE
OF ASSETS (FURTHER IMPLEMENTATION
OF COMMISSIONS’ FINDINGS)
(AMENDMENT) ACT, 1995
AN ACT to amend the Investigation
and Forfeiture of Assets (Further
Implementation of Commissions’
Findings) Decree, 1969 (N.L.C.D.
354) to release a specified
confiscated asset.
DATE OF ASSENT: 15TH DECEMBER,
1995.
BE IT ENACTED by Parliament as
follows —
Section 1—Release of Specified
Confiscated Property.
House No. K.2, Asawase, Kumasi,
being immovable property formally
belonging to Alhaji Mohammed
Babaley Sulemana and vested in the
State under The Investigation and
Forfeiture of Assets (Further
Implementation of Commissions'
Findings) Decree 1969 (N.L.C.D.
354) is hereby transferred to the
said Alhaji Mohammed Babaley
Sulemana with effect from the
coming into force of this Act free
from any incumbrances whatsoever.
Section 2—Repeal.
The Investigation and Forfeiture
of Assets (Further Implementation
of Commissions' Findings) Decree
1969 (N.L.C.D. 354) is amended by
the repeal in the second column of
Part 1 of the Second Schedule to
the Decree of the following words
—
“House No. K. 2, Asawase, Kumasi.”
