IN exercise of the powers
conferred on the Minister for
Lands and Forestry by section 5 of
the Land Title Registration Law,
1986 (P.N.D.C.L. 152) this
Instrument is made this 31st day
of May, 1996.
The area specified in the Schedule
to this Instrument is hereby
declared as a Registration
District.
SCHEDULE
All those parcels of land situate
within Ashalianan (Ashaleanan),
Ashifura, Bebianiha, Besease,
Koteaku, Kurabi, Kwaku Panfo,
Maampehia, Mayera, Otaten and
Tenbibian in the Ga District of
the Greater Accra Region of the
Republic of Ghana commencing at
the level crossing at Obuom
(village) which point (level
crossing) marks the north-eastern
boundary of the said Accra
District 12 in the Ga District of
the Greater Accra Region of the
Republic of Ghana aforesaid, the
boundary runs along the eastern
side of the motor road from Obuom
(village) to Kwaku Panfo (village)
in a south-westerly direction for
15,300 feet approximately to the
junction of the aforementioned
motor road from Obuom to Kwaku
Panfo and joins the motor road
from Koteaku to Habera at Kwaku
Panfo (village) and thence
continues in a southerly direction
along the track from Kwaku Panfo
(village) for 6,800 feet
approximately to Honise (village)
and thence continues in a
south-westerly direction along the
eastern side of the footpath from
Honise (village) for 7,800 feet
approximately to Odenke (village)
and thence along the eastern side
of the said footpath from Odenke
(village) for 4,000 feet
approximately to Gyatoman
(village) and thence continues in
a north-westerly direction along
the eastern side of the regional
boundary between Greater Accra and
Central Region for 12,100 feet
approximately to a point and
thence continues in a northerly
direction along the aforementioned
regional boundary (Greater Accra
and Central Region) through Kurabi
(village) for 24,200 feet
approximately to a point on the
railway line from Adzen Kotoku to
Achiasi and thence continues in an
easterly direction along the
aforementioned railway line from
Adjen Kotoku to Achiasi passing
through Akweiman (village) for
23,100 feet approximately to the
point of commencement thus
enclosing an area of 4256.761
hectares or 11,135.36 acres or
17.399 square miles or 45.063
square kilometres be the same
several dimensions little more or
less as the boundary of the said
Registration District is more
particularly delineated, shewn and
edged with pink colour on the
Registry Map filed in the Office
of the Chief Registrar of Lands,
Land Title Registry, 28th February
