LAND TITLE REGISTRATION—DECLARATION OF REGISTRATION DISTRICT (ACCRA DISTRICT 16) INSTRUMENT, 1996 (LI 1625).  

 

 

IN exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister for Lands and Forestry by section 5 of the Land Title Registration Law, 1986 (P.N.D.C.L. 152) this Instrument is made this  31 st day of May, 1996.

 

The area specified in the Schedule to this Instrument is hereby declared as a Registration District.

 

SCHEDULE

All those parcels of land situate within Adu Kwadzo, Adwo, Ahele, Alafia No. 1, Alafia No. 11, Amamomo, Ayite Koto, Ayuah, Botokura Domfoase, Duayeden (Nyanawase), Kofi Donkor, Kofi Quaye, Koteman, Kudamekope, Mame Dede, Nkwanta, Nyanaw, Obokwasi, Obuom, Odakwai and Twerebu in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana commencing at a point which point is on the southern side of the motor road from Adoagyiri to Adeiso at Noka (village) which same point marked the north eastern most boundary of the said Accra District 16 in the Ga District of the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana aforesaid and is 3,200 feet from Mile Post 26 on the aforementioned motor road from Adoagyiri to Adeiso, the boundary runs in a southerly direction along the western side of the regional boundary between Greater Accra and Eastern Region passing over the Nyanaw ridge for 14,600 feet approximately to a point and thence follows the said regional boundary (Greater Accra and Eastern Region) in a south easterly direction for 7,000 feet approximately to a point on the western bank of the Densu river and thence follows the western bank of the said Densu river downstream in a serpentine order for 9,400 feet approximately to the north-western end of a bridge over the said Densu river carrying the railway line from Adjen Kotoku to Obuom (village) and thence follows the said railway line from Adzen Kotoku (village) through Obokwasi (village) in a westerly direction for 20,000 feet approximately to the level crossing at Obuom (village) and thence continues along the eastern sides of the motor road from Obuom village to Kwasi Nyarku (village) passing through the villages of Ayikai, Ahele, Asuaba and Adwo for 28,000 feet approximately to the junction where the said motor road from Obuom (village) to Kwasi Nyarku (village) meets the aforementioned motor road from Adoagyiri at Kwasi Nyarku and thence continues along the southern side of the said motor road from Adoagyiri to Adeiso passing through the villages of Mame Dede, Nkwanta and Anoff for 12,000 feet approximately to the point of commencement thus enclosing an area of 4,511.878 hectares or 11,140.44 acres or 17.407 square miles or 45.084 square kilometers be the same several dimensions little more or less as the boundary of the said Registration District is more particularly delineated, shewn and edged with pink on the Registry Map filed in the office of the Chief Registrar of Lands, Land Title Registry, 28th February Road, Victoriaborg, Accra.
