LAND TITLE REGISTRATION—DECLARATION OF REGISTRATION DISTRICT (ACCRA DISTRICT 13) INSTRUMENT, 1996, (LI 1622).  

 

 

 

IN exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister for Lands and Forestry by section 5 of the Land Title Registration Law, 1986 (P.N.D.C.L. 152) this Instrument is made this 31st day of May, 1996.

 

The area specified in the Schedule to this Instrument is hereby declared as a Registration District.

 

SCHEDULE

All those parcels of land situate within Akutuase, Asifura, Ashaaladza, Habor, Honiakyem, Kodwoashon, Kwamianum, Obuom and Onibi in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana commencing at a point which point is on the south-eastern side of the bridge over River Densu where the railway line from Adjen Kotoku to Achiase crosses the said River Densu and is 9,800 feet approximately south west along the southern side of the said railway line from Adjen Kotoku to Nsawam/Adjen Kotoku to Achiase respectively (junction) in the Ga District of the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana aforesaid the boundary runs along the eastern side of the said River Densu in a serpentine order in the southerly direction passing near north-eastern side of Kodwoashon (village) for 63,000 feet approximately to a point which point is where a footpath from Afuaman to Alafia (villages) respectively crosses the said River Densu and is 1,700 feet approximately north west of the said Afuaman (village) and thence follows along the north-eastern side of the said footpath from Afuaman (village) to Alafia (village) in a north-westerly direction for 11,300 feet approximately to a point along the north-eastern side of the motor road from Oklu/Dantsera (villages) respectively to Ashaaladze (village) and also to a point where the footpath from the aforesaid Afuaman to Alafia (village) crosses the motor road from the said Oklu/Dantsera (villages) to Ashaaladza (village) and thence follows along the south eastern side of the aforesaid motor road in a north-easterly direction for 6,000 feet approximately to a point near west of Ashaaladza (village) and thence continues to follow along the north-eastern side of the motor road from the aforementioned Ashaaladza (village) in a north-westerly direction passing through Alafia, Kolokowhe, Obakrowe, Bukor, Habor and Akutuase (villages) respectively for 38,000 feet approximately to a point at Kweku Panfo (village) which point is at the north-eastern edge of the motor road from the said Kweku Panfo/Tenbibian (villages) respectively to Ashaaladza (village) and also where the motor road from Obuom (village) railway station joins the motor road from Koteaku/Kweku Panfo (villages) respectively to the said Ashaaladze (village) and thence follows along the eastern side of the aforesaid motor road from Kweku Panfo (village) to Obuom railway station in a north-easterly direction for 15,000 feet approximately to a point which point is at the south eastern side of the said railway line from Achiase to Adjen Kotoku at Obuom railway station also where the motor road from the aforesaid Kweku Panfo (village) crosses the aforesaid railway line to Kwesi Nyarku and thence follows along the eastern side of the aforementioned Achiase/Kotoku railway line in a easterly direction for 20,000 feet approximately passing south of Obokwasi (village) to the point of commencement thus enclosing an area of 4256.761 hectares or 10,510.52 acres or 16.423 square miles or 42.436 kilometres be the same several dimension little more or less as the boundary of the Registration District is more particularly delineated, shewn and edged with pink colour on the Registry Map filed in the office of the Chief Registrar of Lands, Land Title Registry, 28th February Road, Victoriaborg, Accra.
