TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ORDINANCE (CAP. 84) THE SUNYANI PLANNING AREA ORDER, 1958 (LN 344).              

 

 

WHEREAS the Minister responsible for Town and Country Planning after consultation with the Sunyani Urban Council, is of opinion that a scheme should be made for the area described in the Schedule to this Order:

No. 30 of 1958.

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred on that Minister by subsection (1) of section 9 of the Town and Country Planning Ordinance as amended by the Town and Country Planning Act, 1958 it is hereby ordered as follows:—

Order 1—Title.

This Order may be cited as the Sunyani Planning Area Order, 1958.

Order 2—Declaration of Planning Area.

The area, the boundaries of which are described in the Schedule to this Order, is hereby declared to be a planning area [which shall be known as " the Sunyani Planning Area "].

SCHEDULE

SUNYANI PLANNING AREA—DESCRIPTION OF BOUNDARIES

Commencing at a Ghana Survey pillar marked S.T.B.2 which pillar is situate on the south-west side of the Berekum—Kumasi Road and approximately four thousand four hundred and seventy feet as measured south-east along the said road from its junction with the Wenchi Road and is distant on a bearing of one hundred and thirty degrees twelve minutes—which bearing together with all further bearings hereinafter mentioned is referred to True North—eight hundred and ninety decimal nine feet from a Ghana Survey pillar marked A.37/25/7 runs on a bearing of two hundred and seventy-seven degrees thirty-four minutes for a distance of ten thousand six hundred and nine feet to a pillar marked S.T.B.1 and thence runs on a bearing of three hundred and sixty degrees for a distance of thirteen thousand five hundred feet to a pillar marked S.T.B.5 and thence runs on a bearing of one hundred and fifteen degrees two minutes for a distance of four thousand one hundred and eighty-three feet to a pillar marked S.T.S.22 and thence runs on a bearing of eighty-three degrees eight minutes for a distance of four thousand four hundred and sixty feet to a pillar marked S.T.S.23 situated on the north-west side of the Sunyani-Odumasi Road and thence runs on a bearing of one hundred and three degrees fifty-four minutes for a distance of two thousand one hundred and eighty-four feet to a pillar marked S.T.B.4 and thence runs on a bearing of one hundred and seventy-five degrees forty-six minutes for a distance of seven thousand one hundred and thirty feet to a pillar marked S.T.B.3 situated on the south side of the aforesaid Wenchi Road and thence runs on a bearing of one hundred and eighty-three degrees nine minutes for a distance of six thousand and twenty-two feet to the point of commencement be the same several dimensions little more or less as the same premises are more particularly delineated on a plan number X.1133 and signed by the Officer-in-Charge, Cadastral Branch, Ghana Survey Department on the 30th day of March, 1931, which plan is deposited with the Director of Surveys.
