ARRANGEMENT OF SECTIONS
Section
1. Certain Foreign Companies

carrying on Business in Ghana.

BE IT ENACTED by the Armed Forces
Revolutionary Council as follows:—
Section 1—Certain Foreign
Companies Prohibited from
Operating in Ghana.
The companies or firms specified
in Part I of the Schedule to this
Decree are hereby prohibited from
engaging in any commercial or
business activity with—
(a) any Ministry, Government
department, agency or organisation
or statutory Corporation; or
(b) any local or foreign company
or firm operating in Ghana.
Section 2—Certain Persons
Prohibited from carrying on
Business in Ghana.
Any person who holds office as a
Director in any of the companies
or enterprises specified in Part
II of the Schedule to this Decree
is hereby prohibited from engaging
in any business or commercial
activities in Ghana.
Section 3—Offence.
Any person who contravenes any
provisions of section 1 or 2 of
this Decree commits an offence and
shall be liable on summary
conviction to a fine not exceeding
¢5,000.00 or a term of
imprisonment not exceeding two
years or to both.
