2012 ACT844
AN ACT to revise and consolidate
the law relating to Veterans and
to provide for related matters.

Establishment of Veterans
Administration, Ghana
1.
(1) There is established by this
Act a body corporate with
perpetual succession to be known
as the Veterans Administration,
Ghana.
(2) Where there is a hindrance
to the acquisition of property,
the property may be acquired for
the Administration, under the
State Property and Contracts Act
1960 (C.A 6) or the State
Lands Act, 1962 (Act 125) and
the cost shall be borne by the
Administration.
Object of the Administration
2. The object of the
Administration is to
(a)
form a body of persons who have
served in the Gold Coast
Regiment of the Royal West
African Frontier Force or the
Ghana Armed Forces and have been
honourably released; |
